Animal Assisted Activities
Serving schools and special needs camps has been one of our main focuses. We have found that children who refuse or dislike the touch of another human will often happily touch and accept the touch of our trained minis. Whether they just put hands on them or engage in grooming with tools, the results are obvious and heartwarming.
Nursing Homes, Rehabs and Senior Centers
Our minis bring smiles and comfort to our seniors. They are potty trained so they can make inside and bedside visits, and outside visits are always enjoyable. Staff members benefit from the interactions with our special animals as well.
Post High Program
Starting in 2023, we developed a more Independent based program for special needs young adults attending Post High through their high school. Meeting weekly, the participants take on a more independent approach with the horses, being more responsible for their grooming, leading them without assistance, and taking them through obstacles. We also meet with them at our local park to take the minis for a walk.
Camps for Special Needs
We would love to provide a visit for your camp. Campers can groom, decorate, and interact with the minis. Each session is designed to foster connection, build confidence, and encourage gentle responsibility. Whether it's brushing manes, leading a mini through a short walk, or simply sharing quiet time together, the joy on the campers' faces says it all.
Hospice Events
We provide the same program as for our camps. Interacting with the minis puts smiles on the faces of children who are in various stages of grief. One father, almost in tears, told us his young daughter hadn't smiled in weeks. He was overcome with emotion, watching his child find some happiness in a very difficult time.
Community Events
Appearances are available for your events. Petting our minis and mini education is our focus, due to the large number of participants.
Our minis are always a crowd favorite — perfect for fairs, festivals, school events, and more. Visitors can meet the minis up close, learn fun facts about miniature horses, and discover the special training that allows them to work as therapy animals. Every event becomes a memorable opportunity to share smiles and a bit of magic with the community.
